funny.  guess you didnt see the initial poster in the other thread.
QUOTE
the led's are to show correct connections to all points inc d0 - the same feature as what you were whooping about in a previous thread

guess you should reread my post in the previous thread you mentioned.  i didnt say anything about leds on the adapter.  i said i didnt need the lights that are included in the chip (though it is a nice incorporation on you part as a simple solution) and i didnt want switches.  nope, no adapter reference from me referring to the lights.  maybe others, not me.  get it right.

only thing you've said that makes sense, is that the "fanboys" are the problem, which i said earlier.

i'm not a fanboy.  i'm just sick of seeing bashing.  i for one have not bashed your products quality, because i've never used one.

second, i simply stated what one of your users pointed out.  and i'll admit that i didnt know, the led confirmed the connection.  so i can admit the "blind" statement.  all i've ever heard users point out was the "bling" factor as advertised.  but , not a fanboy.  fanboys in my opinion are those that jump to bashing and start using every 4 letter word in book.  say the others are stupid and what not.  i didnt bash the product.  just stated i didnt see a point in the led.  now i do.  i'm big enough to admit that.  and only thing i've ever mentioned of "the team" is stuff that i've witnessed first hand in forums.  basically the solution is for everyone to stay in their own forums when it comes to "opinions".  if you want to research for a purchase, or install, or wanna ask a question, thats when you belong there.

This thread will get back on topic, or it will be closed.  Take the xodus vs xecuter BS to the xodus vs xecuter thread, please.  We really dont need more then one mudslinging thread at a time, here.

The work that goes into making these products as cool looking and functional takes a lot of work. Mad props for Team Xodus on doing the 12 days for their fans/customers.

If any of you have ever seen the developement of a new product then you know how unpredictable and hard it is to make promises surrounding it's release, this goes for ANY business sector and ANY part of the world! Unforseeable events in production can throw the product off by a week! Wouldn't you rather wait for the confidence and developement of these new Xodus devices to be built before they tell you a solid release date? Or would you rather want a release date that is a guess of of the top of their heads like other competitors?

What you guys care to see is that behind all of the loud and unique advertising there are very passionate people working hard to make sure that the people thatg buy their products will be able to say "My product couldn't be better" and to offer them expandability without any hassle? Do you think of the passionate people that spent time out of their busy lives to actually work that 4 more hours into the holiday night to make their next product even better and even easier for you to have?

Team Xodus is about giving the cutomer absolute control,, no matter how you look at it thats how it is. They gave us the Xenium OS, a clear indication that they know how much more freedom we want when it comes to modding our Xbox, next was skinning options because they felt that customizing the Xenium OS would lead to a whole new way of expressing one's self on their Xbox, and it did.

To all of you coming into this thread to tear down Team Xodus and drag them through the dirt, I have nothing but shame for you. Don't come into this thread which is about Xenium customers and drag dirt over it, it isn't fair. And to all of you Xenium fans thinking about going onto the Xecuter forums/threads and starting the same trouble, just don't. Let them look like the fools, not us, when you go to have revenge, forget about digging one grave, you might as well dig one for yourself as well.

That's all I wanted to say on the matter.

Why is Xecutor coming over here to cause trouble? This is the Xenium forum...

If you want to complain about the Xenium, you can at least do it in your own forum. But wait, that wouldn't be as fun would it? Because you want to see our reaction, to cause an argument.

That is a little on the immature side.

And I've seen you call many other people fanboys... and let me tell you I am certainly not one. I am just merely asking that you stop causing trouble where none is needed.
Try to work together to make the scene better, not just complain.

on the 12 days they have showed the skryer, graphic lcd, and now solderless adapter. any pricepoints or release dates. but please, only give them if they will be stuck to or xodus will never hear the end of it. i mean, come on, everyone else sticks to their release dates dry.gif
it was tongue in cheek, reflecting the flames that would pop up if a release date wasnt met.  so i'd love to here none if it's not a sure thing.  even a ballpark would be nice though.  i'd love to see more of the products just like everyone else.  but i can more than wait.   beerchug.gif

Solderless looks good -

Some guys may think this thing suck - BUT as you can see in the video is really fast and easy to install the chip using the solderless, looks great.

Yeah ummm, this post is aimed at the team that this forum belongs to. Not someone just post sniping in someone elses forum.

Thank you for actually comming up with something creative and using it to introduce your products. Its nice to see some new things going on around here in a more interesting way. Of course all of the forums around here are just people trying to get attention (harsh but true).

Also, thank you for having the balls to actually let people berate you in your own forum. If half the bashing threads that happened here happened in a different forum (I think you could figure out where) they would be closed so fast it would break our necks. And your lack of punchyness shows in how you treat your customers (the hand that feeds you as it were), with respect.

Just... thank you.

I think the only problem in the video is the time it takes to install. Face it we all know you need to take a little more time to double check the install on any adapter. I think we will see a flood of "I did it just like the video wahhh" posts

ofcourse it's gona happend - but what else do you want - 30 seconds is pretty fast - NO WIRES - no SOLDER - nothing - just plug (screw) config and play. Not big deal - I mean - what is better - using this solderless - or using solder - finding the correct points - bad solder problem and things like that.

I have now only done 2 1.6 installs, one with a LPC rebuild board and one without and got lucky on both with no problems. I don't charge the people I do installs for because the standard solderless is so easy, only occasionally when I have to go back and fix a screw up they do. But when this hits I will probably have to start charging just because I won't have the excuse to put off 1.6s anymore.
