i think its an amazing product, its perfect for my friend, he already has a 1.6 box for live, and hes planning on getting another box to mod, and he wants it to be the best of the best, so he wants a v1.6, and +, he doesnt know how to solder, so this is perfect! i hate when people come into these forums bitching about the hardware, and saying other stuff is better, look what i said to the guy in the Xecuter vs. Xenium forum, LMAO

pot calling the kettle black.  and nice how they wait till xodus is done with their competition to launch theres.  i guess if they wanna bitch about arrogance (notice, their competition is nothing but the 12 year olds telling them how great they are in 5 simple lines, gotta keep it simple for the kiddies i guess), so i'm bitching about their hypocrasy.  

still nice to see more innovation then some damn switches.  thats not innovation, its reinventing the wheel.

and DarkJedi664 i agree.  i'm not really complaining about the competition.  that i get.  it's the hypocrasy that irritates me.  i've never said anything about their chips, know little about them.  i chose xenium because no switches, no cursing at customers, and some of the os features.  (at time there was no x3).  

come to think of it, its the xecuter users that irritate me more than xecuter themselves.  i rarely see xenium users flaming and stuff other users.  and i've never seen artifex cus out a customer.

anyway.  i'm done with my little rant.  but at least i kept it in the home front.  

by the way, just got another xenium in today from bmmods to do my buddies box.  any guesses why he got a xenium.

I don't know why you bother with this "arguing is is like running in the special olympics"-picture. It's not clever, nor funny.

To get this thread back on track, I have to say that this solderless adaptor for 1.6 looks very useful and if that video is representative of a installation, we have a winner.

People representing Xecuter (or wanting to represent them because they have a xecuter chip) bashing this adapter because it is from Team Xenium are makin gfools of themselves IMO. Perhaps Xecuter are making something similar and even better, but at the moment this one is looking the best for solderless 1.6 install (if they can get it for sale soon that is).

The adapter will most probably work for all modchips as well, so this is a innovation that is good for the whole modding community. If you disagree just because it is a Xenium product, well then that's probably your loss.
