When i start up my xbox it makes a weird clicking noise then on the xenium os it unlocks my drive. then if i start up evox it either freezes (at startup and at the dashboard) or gives me some messed up version of evox.if it does this noise during a game, the game has a dirty disk error or freezes. wat do i do? ive tried everything. i have a 1.6 xbox running m8plus1.6 BIOS i do not know wat to do!!someone help me plz. thnkx in advance!

maybe your dashboard has issues upload a new one, or try another bios, and if you're getting disc read errors must be your dvd rom drive needs a cleaning or the discs you are trying aren't working properly.

that wasn't called for if you do not like Team Xodus products, then don't come to their forums.  You must be very immature and pathetic to go onto other forums and post negative comments.  This forum is intended to help and inform those who need it, you do not see me going over to xecuter's forums and saying they suck.  Xecuters are good, but i like my xenium and i use it and if others want to also let them.

i dont think it is the bios because even without the m8 bios my xbox does the same noise and sometimes it has the xenium panic error and i went through some of the menus and it unlocked my drive should i update my xenium os? i have 2.0
and what about my bad hard drive? what do i do to fix this?then what bios should i chose?

ok i updated it to 2.0.1 and it hasnt been doing the weird noises. should i update to 2.0.2 because there are many topics that the upgrade failed.and how can i make sure that this will not happen again

sorry for the double post but it started to do the noises like crazy and i dont know what to do. does this even happen to anybody else? and any more suggestions or hlp will GREATLY be appreciated.

If you disconnect D0 from the xen chip. Does it boot properly to the tsop ?
Do you get the same noise ?
If not, then the mod has nothing to do with the noise.

You have opened and put your ear, and confirmed its the HDD and not the DVD or fans making the noise ?

yea im sure its not the DVD because everytime the noise happens the xbox gets messed up. im not sure about the fans because the fan seems to work the same.and about my installation i had mine premodded from modchipman.com. is the tsop the MS dashboard?

ok it has been doing it everyone in a while but when it starts it takes forever for it to stop.are there any suggestions?and for a new harddrive, what would happen if i got a new one?
