Xenium Os Upgrade Failed.

You definitely need to see if you can do a chargeback on your card.  If the pics you are looking at are accurate, and you have a fake then what they say is bogus anyway.  At least you confronted them on it.

Take a pic of it for record.  Tell them why you know it's a fake.  I buy all my chips from BMmods.com , these guys are one of the straightest shooters you will ever meet.

They have helped my business so much in the past three months.  They are one of the few vendors that believe in customer satisfaction.  My chips are always shipped out the next business day.  $15.00 for overnight, $8.00 for two day air!  That's nothing!  I usually get 10 chips at a time, but lately they talked me into offering SmartXX's too.

Since I did, my business has doubled.  They have helped me out greatly.  I highly recommend them to anyone who needs to order some or even one chip.

One of my customers chips went bad after about five weeks, of course I have to stand behind my work.  BMmods stood behind me and let me RMA the chip.  What more could you ask for in a reseller?

QUOTE
I understand why Xodus hates fakes and clones. I thought I was buying from a legit dealer. But their update kills the clones. It is not really fair to unknowing people like me. They should have made the update not work on a clone without killing the clone. They didn't hurt the clone makers pocket book by doing this. They hurt mine. I can't remember what I paid for the original Chameleon I bought, but it was like $60 with shipping or so. I had to pay to send it back, $35 dollars. So now I am out like $100 and no chip.

Do NOT blame Xodus that you made the mistake of not checking to see if your reseller or chip was legit in the first place.

TeamXodus makes it known that the Xenium OS is for customers of their Xenium chips ONLY. If you bought a clone, it wasn't made by them, therefore, you aren't a customer.

Simple as that

Xenium Os Upgrade Failed.

Mine is the original Blue Xenium.  I bought from go cyber shop.  I originally bought a Chameleon that was bad.  They replaced it with a Xenium because the Chameleon was out of production.  I intended to purchase an Xodus product.  Until the bad OS flash I wasn't aware that I had gotten a fake.  Go cyber shop is on the official list.  They claim they don't sell fakes.  But yet it looks like the fake pics and it failed the OS upgrade.  Maybe it isn't a fake.  Either way it failed the OS upgrade.  There are numerous people here reporting on the fourms of bad OS flash.  Can every single one having a problem be fake.  When flash fails and the recovery doesn't work, what is one to do?  Just seems like it would be a better design if they had an external flash method.

This has been 6 months since I recieved the Xenium.  It was another 6 before that working with go cyber shop to get them to replace the Chameleon.  You think a year is too long to do a chargeback?  I dont' think the cc company is gonna go for that.

Go cyber shop only takes Fedex packages for RMA.  That was $35.  So the orginal cost of the chip and the cost to send it back.  Then they sent me a fake.  I know I won't buy anything else from them.

But all of that still doesn't fix my broke chip.
