Not really...just make absolutly sure that the Pogos are aligned again (clean the LPC and the pogo pins if that doesn't work)...It has to be that, I am SURE of it.

Solderless adapters are garbage, just solder it in and you won't have any problems.

u know, who cares if it's solderless, or even a soft mod???  it's still modded right?  just leave it at that.  y hate on something?  it just sounds childish if you ask me.

rolleyes.gif I hate on it because it results in nothing but problems for oh say 60% of those that install em later. That's 60% that comes to this forum with the same question...

There are differences mate wink.gif

I'm not going to argue with you. They are different, No one flames someone for using any of them, I simply tell them the Pro's and Cons of them. Anymore posts on this will make a hijacked thread (hell already was with ur post) and will be retarded.

LMAO how is my sig flaming ppl?  Thats one of the funniest things I have ever heard.  I have told many ppl to solder in their chips or find someone else to do it and most ppl that finally do it thank me in the end.  These adapters are not designed to be a permanent solution, pogo pins are meant for debug purposes, just put it in for a little while and remove it.  The mod chip makers adopted it for xbox chips and now there are problems.  Most of the time it is user error with these adapters, since most ppl that buy them have never modded anything and dont know jack about the xbox and how it works, so they screw it up and come cryin here, without taking even 1 minute to search.  That is what bothers me the most.  People ask the same questions over and over "my solderless install is flashing red and green whats wrong???"  If people took 2 minutes to search there wouldn't be any problems.

You can't have heard many funny things  dry.gif.

And I seriously doubt that 60% of users encounter probs with solderless. It might just seem that way. I have a solderless for now (I'll solder it in next time I have my mobo out) and I've had no probs at all with it and I bang it about in the car at least once a week.
