dry.gif  Didn't the topic of the other threads in this forum make you think "hey, maybe installing a modchip isn't considered a casemod." Seriously, scroll down and look at the names of all the forums before posting. There is a forum specifically for zenium chips...

Is there a way to fix this or should I de-solder everything and take the chip off?  Is it possible to back everything out and still have a functional normal xbox (assuming it's not broken)?

unplug the power cord from the back of the xbox and then plug it back in. See what it does. I have the same problem, but if I unplug it then plug it back in it powers up by itself.

Did you mention you were playing this game from the hard drive or from a backup DVD.  Just wondering if you got a good clean ISO burn.  If you are playing from DVD try installing onto your hard drive and see if you run into the same problem. Try reburning onto a DVD-RW at the slowest speed and see if that helps.
I'm assuming your not having this problem with other games.
Did you forget to plug you fan back wire back in.

I tried doing the upplug/plug back in thing and that didn't work.

I double checked all wires and everything is plugged in properly.

I tried the link Gumba posted and that's not the problem.  I measured the voltage like it said and I'm getting a constant 3.25v, which is correct.

Maybe my power supply went out?

Are there any places that do repair services (other than Llama which I already looked at)?  Is this a viable option b/c I really have no clue what to check next?

Thanks all.
