Try using a dashboard based disktool to format your E drive.

I believe you can leave the rest of your drives alone.

I actually have the games on the F drive, and I use the Bios from the Xenium Chip OS 2.0 to Format the 200Gb drive when I changed it from the original 10gb drive that comes with the XBOX, but aside from this, what is that have to do for playing original games? see the ORIGINAL GAMES that do work have no problem being copied and played from the HD or Copy DVD.

Any suggestions?

That is really odd... I'm kinda OT since I have an X-Chip but I've had no problems... can you still boot into your original MS Bios and MS Dash?  I'd recommend just playing them from there.  There may be an issue with your E drive though, like someone else said.  I have Crimson Skies and it works fine.

Gimplar gave you the right answer.  Go download a copy of slayers auto install or use the raw commands with evox.  Then format either the whole drive to just the e:.  The xos is buggy as shit with the formatting and it corrupts the e:, its the worst way to set up a drive.  Just reformat it with evox.

I am having the exact same problem.

Xbox 1.6
Xenium Ice
M8_16
original harddrive

I am not able to play originals of burnout 2 or burnout 3.
Both games hang during logo's at game startup.

I guess that discards the formatting issue with a new drive since you have not mess with the original drive in yours right?


Unless the problem is within Evox M8_16 which is the only option of Evox bios we have for this version of Xbox....

Somebody any ideas????

Nope.  I have not messed with the original harddrive.  The only thing I have done, other than install the mod-chip, is installed xbmc and dvd2xbox.
I'm going to rent crimson sky or some other game you mentioned as not working.  Will let you know.

BTW, have you upgraded to 2.0 beta 2 yet?  I will try that, after testing some more originals.

I have also installed DVD2XBOX in mine and works great on backups to the HD "On the games that work...!!!"  

About the OS of the Bios from the Xenium Ice is the original one 2.0 that came with it I haven't touch it, yet.

Let me know if you try some of those games I mentioned and if you upgrade something that makes this thing works as it should.

Get slayers (google) and reformat the whole damn thing.  Just ftp over the games and what not to your pc first, load slayers, format the fucker and it'll be fixed.

I had some problems where games would get stuck loading, try clearing out you cache on your E drive, and also clear out the cache on the X, Y, and Z drives, that fixed things for me.

sorta.... I can click the button and get into the game but if I let the credits roll it still locks up...
