Ok ive had some problems with my new Xenium ice , AS  alot of people here " from all that i read yesterday trying to resolve my Problems ....

Boot problems
Frag problem
xbox not booting into MS
Xbox no doing anything at all
and so on ,
Xenium not lighting up ....

i was trying the NON solder techniqe ,, JUST FORGET ABOUT THAT
 SOLDER IT !!!!  you will not have any problems what so ever ,,,,

i tried everything , holding it down  and  so on ,,and allot of people seem to have  this similar problem ,,

so just   SOLDER IT  and see !!!

Ahhh well said, I've been saying this for a long time now.  Solderless mods are worthless.

I think you missed his point.

People with issues with solderless solutions, compared to the number of units sold, shows that people are not having widespread problems.

If they were.. returns would kill the chip guys, and the product would be pulled.

I suspect Xodus staff would echo that.

I have fitted over 6 solderless installs now and never had a problem, If someone regularly moved their box around then a solder install may be a better option.

just take a good look around the forums and see how many posts refer to "bad solder" "lifetd trace" etc...

Point taken, so let me rephrase what I was trying to say.  The vast majority of posts are ppl having problems with the solderless adapter as opposed to soldered problems.  Obviously not everyone who uses a solderless adapter has problems because if they did the adapters wouldn't get sold.  However, most of the questions on this and other boards are about problems with the solderless adapter.  From what I can gather its largely user error and not product error.  Still, most of the threads are problems regarding the adapter, almost all of which are connectivity issues.
