You could just format your drive with OS2, setup the ftp, up the file, and flash from the HD ...

That is what I did ...


Or you could use a usb thumb drive(if you have the usb adapter).

What I did was;

Put in the mod chip

Mount my new HD

just stuck the stock hd on top of the new one hooked it up, booted to OS2 and loaded the TSOP into the launch menu and launched it, to set the time.

Plugged new hd in, booted to OS2

Formatted Drive

Setup Network

Ftp'd my bios up, added it to the launch menu set it as default, turned on instant boot.

I booted to the UnleashX Exusers DVD to do my install, but slayers should work, I like UnleashX for fresh installs, because you can set the time right from system settings in UX.

Did 2 boxes this way and they work fine, the third I flashed from a usb drive.

If you don't care about the M$ dash, you could just ftp your Dashboard to C:\ .
