My image was much more high quality, it was made in 10sec with M$ Poo. I could have used photoshop but then you wouldnt have got that high quality look I was going for.

hang on, i'm turning those two off again, and seeing if that was the eject button problem..

Aha! that's the problem. with instant boot and quick boot turned off, the eject tray opens with eject button power on. With them on, it doesn't happen. one more test..

Instant Boot: ON
Quick Boot: OFF Eject button loads Os2 Beta 2, tray doesn't open.

Instant Boot: OFF
Quick Boot: ON Eject button loads Os2 Beta 2, tray opens.

It's that damn instant boot. biggrin.gif

Umm

that's what Instant Boot is *supposed* to do smile.gif

As far as I can tell Instant Boot and Quick Boot are actually working perfectly.

i know they are, that's why i said: Edit: These aren't bugs. My bad, but like i said, incase anyone else has the ejecting tray 'problem', they may not guess right off. kind of like me

uhh.gif Hmmmmm not sure what the difference is, all 3 of my boxes seem to boot at least twice as fast ...

Even the 1.0 that I have hacked to pieces doing output mods to, (I only say this because i'm lousy at soldering, and have butchered the box on many occasions), boots up just fine with the ICE and 2.0b2.

If you're using the solderless adaptor, you may have a weak connection on one of the LAD pins, resulting in data re-tries which will slow things down to a crawl... if you're not using the solderless adaptor, then you may have a cold solder joint.

I used the quick solder method.
I doubt its a cold solder joint, since prior to updating with the new bios it worked perfectly. Even after the HALT errors when updating, turned it off and back on and was normal.

I haven't tried again since my post. I'll check it in a bit.

Also try booting it up with only one MS controller and see if that corrects it. If so, there is a possible hardware conflict (and Xodus needs to know that, and what combination of hardware causes it).
