Cant Install Dashboard Or Run Apps

no no no. You can't run apps or dashboards from the xenium os. You run them indirectly, that is you load the bios, that loads the dashboard, that runs the apps/dashboards.

or do i put the files on a cd rw and flash the g drive or whatever


will the bios file be labeled bin when i save it?

i saved the file that says xbe... i did not see a bin file

Follow this:
( I will be using evox dash and x2 4983.06 bios for this )
1. FTP your evox dashboard files in the C:\ drive
2. FTP x2 bios to any folder on your hd ( I used f:\bios for sake of organization)
3. Load up xenium OS (i have pre-release 2.0)
4. Go to launch menu
5. Add a new item
6. Choose "flash"
7. Locate the x2 bios and select it
8. Create name for it, ex. X2 4983
9. Choose a LED color
10. Wait for it to add the item
11. Launch x2 bios you just added
12. It will automatically detect and launch evox dash that you ftped to your c:\ drive
13. Have fun.

this is about as simple as it gets

i don't get what you mean. Only bios files are .bin

right now i got avalaunch.xbe

christ man...i think you should read over the newb section.  Hopefully you know what a bios is.  Here is what you need to do.

1.  get the bios you want from the usual places (m8_16.bin, 4983.bin, whatever)
2.  get the whole avalaunch.rar file
3.  boot up your xbox into the Xenium OS.
4.  ftp your bios (.bin) file over to the c:\ of your xbox.
5.  select add launch item and then select flash.
6.  choose the .bin file you just ftp'ed to you xbox
7.  select add launch item and add TSOP.
8.  unrar the avaluanch file.
9.  ftp over all the files and folder to the c:\
10.  edit your avalaunch.ini to specifications
11. launch using your flashed bios of choice.

if you dont understand something here, i recommend you read some tutorials...there are plenty out there.

The bios you get from the usual places will be called:

X2.4983.BIOS.rar or
EvolutionX M8 Bios.rar

Look for one of these in xbox/bios  section.  When you un-rar, you should get m8.bin/m8_1.6.bin if you got evox m8.  Or x2_4983.06_256k.bin/x2_4983.67_256k.bin if you get latest x2 bios (4983).  The DASHBOARD which the bios loads when the xbox first starts up will be called evox.rar or avalaunch.rar.  

EDIT: evoxdash.xbe and the other included files or avalaunch.xbe and the other included files go onto your c: drive
