What could be going on here?  This is driving me crazy,  please help!

edit: if I remove the d0 the xbox boots up normally, except it asks me to set the time.

Hmm, did you desolder the d0 or just remove it from the chip?  You may wanna try resoldering it.

This has been an issue since the regular Xenium chips.  All of a sudden the chip just looses the OS. I've got 3 people that I've installed Xenium chips in there box and it occasionally has to be reflashed for some reason. You just need to reflash the OS on the chip. Flip the switch and boot up, if you have the recovery.bin file on your E drive. Otherwise you'll have to make a BIOS CD and go that route.

now put the OS bin file on the CD or the HDD E:\

Better use the OS 2 Beta 2 though.
I don't know how the Beta one works on the ICE.

I d/l the "XeniumOS_2.0_BETA2_HDD.rar", extracted the recovery.bin file and renamed it to bios.bin and burned it onto a CD and put it into the xbox.  I get the same thing:  "Loading... -HALT!"

Should I have left it named recovery.bin?

Okay so I managed to successfully get hte OS on.  It looks different form the red screened OS before, and the xbox reboots and int he top left of the screen I am getting the words "Kernal Panic" and somethingabout an exception.

Endless problems.  Advice?
