Ink i'm pulling mine out and the hard drive as well and getting the same red /green frag too.

Does that pinheader have to get removed from the lpc for the box to work as a normal one again?
Have ou pulled yours out

Thanks hl101. I justtook the solder out the lpc. I hope I did it correctly? Which d0 should I use. John I did take the pins out. Good luck keep me posted I'd like to see how you make out.

If you have 30AWG wire, I'd use the top d0, if you don't, then i'd use the bottom one.

Mhm I'm having the same problem here...

Installed the ICE chip today... booted the xbox up... and first it worked out fine... I got the nice Xenium screen. After a few seconds it crashed...

When I boot it up now... (with or without the chip), I get the same LED flashing as described by ink.

(btw I got a 1.4 mobo)

anyway... tyring to fix it now

HIhhaaaaa and its back alive !!!

it was the C7D2 capacitor.

I removed the pin header, cleaned it up a bit. And the xbox works again !  Even with the missing capacitor !!

So the frag come from bad solder LPC prolly !

Lets try it again now

check for solder splashes as well....any small splashes can create bridges anywhere on the board
