Drive Upgrade Wizard

I just bought me a new 160 GB maxtor hardrive and i want to replace the 120 currently in my xbox, if i use the upgrade wizard, will it copy everything ono the 160? my backups and what not?  and am i able to use the 120 in my computer if i want to? (it's unlocked)

1) Yes, but make sure you read this thread and follow the insturctions os LIVE games won't freeze up

right... anyways i'm trying the upgrade wizard
and i'll check my xbox live games to see if they will run

but i did the file ripping faq, and removed the xbox live stuff in my games, since i can't play on live.  so i can save space.  so it shouldn't freeze on me right?

It'll probably freeze. The freezeing is not cuased by the space on your HDD, its a bug in the Drive Upgrade Wizard

was reading one of the posts from the thread you gave me, a guy fixed the problem, by locking the hardrive. and since the xenium os has the feature of locking and unlocking a hardrive, it's worth a try.

lol. It doesn't copy files byte by byte so it shouldn't be too long.

omg read a post about a guy who did the drive upgrade wizard from 120 to 160 it took him 5 days!!!!!, but he only had 5 gb of space left on his 120.  i have like 30 to 45... hopefully it only takes a day...   dry.gif
