dude i followed the instructions above and it worked for me. all i did was, get the evoxm7.bin and burn it to cd-rw. turn on my xbox, xenium beta os shows up. i add with "flash" and select the m7.bin. then i ftp over and sent the evoxdash and ini file over to the c drive and everything works! the xenium os has ftp feature. if you read the xenium ice guide for noobs you would have known that

With Regards to the Auto-Installer, what sort of media did you burn that to ?

I would normally only go with DVDR, although virgin CDRW's are OK in any sort of drive barring Thompson. CDR won't work.

Have you successfully booted a DVDR game inside M7 yet ? Because if not, it could potentially be a problem with your DVD Drive. I don't know why the drive from your PC wouldn't work, but that's something we could get onto later.

i have used cdr cdrw and dvdrw and yes i have succesfully loaded 5 backup games using m7 and x2

Maybe a dumb question, but have you actually tried DVD-R, not RW ?

Oh and you're not using +RW discs are you ?
