Depends what version xbox you have.  1.0 - 1.4 its very easy, 1.5 is just one or two extra wires, 1.6 is more of a pain, none are that hard.  The pin header installs in about 1 - 2 minutes, and the rest of the wires shouldnt take more than 5 tops.
