Well there is a plug that has a d0 and ground wire on it for the Xenium. You can remove it  wink.gif

My Xen Blue didn't come with the d0 loom, so I built the d0 pinheader smile.gif

ie you wire up the empty pin on the pinheader to the d0, and then you have zero risk of pulling out the d0 point when removing the xen in future... and its just too cool smile.gif

I have added a Connector to my Undernith D0 solder pint - all i do is now plug into the D0 The reson for this is becuase i have loads of diffrent mods and if i fancy swaping one over i just unply and add the conneter to the new Mod and plug in.

I have used in the past

SOFT Mod
TSOP Mod
Cheap MOD
Excuter
Extcuter Pro
Xbit
Xenmium - and Ice version

I have 6 xbox in taotal now 2 x 1.1 - 1 x 1.2 - 3 x 1.4 ( 2 of wich are the clear xbox's)

1 is fitted in my car with green giants RC Infrared wich is extended to the frontof the car so that i can remotly turn the xbox on and off wich is mounted in the boot.
There are 2 x 7 1/2" LCD wide screen TVs in the back for the kids and 1 x 5" in the front so that i when i eventualy get round to it i will be putting it through my car stero to play my mp3's.

It has a 300 gig HD with EL wire (Red) wrapped around it and allso a 12V fan mod and clear jewl. There is a mounting for a small LCD in the front dash. Just waiting for Green Giant to send me one of his beta's SPi converters so that i can connect it up to the xbox.

Allso in the car the xbox is connected to a wireless network so that when i pull near the house i can upload new stuff to the xbox with out haveing ever to mess around with RJ45 cables.

The rest of the xbox's are in my home all have 120 gig HDs and 12V fan mods - They all have diffrent Mods but the far best is my sons in his bedroom wich is water cooled. Been messing around with mods now since the xbox first could be modded, and when EVO x took the scean by storm.

changeing all my mods to xeniums once i have the time and all will have lcds once i have time.

I tryed the No solder mods 2 times now and found them to be completely useless if you ever move the xbox. I would never recommend them to any one as ppl allways move there xbox even if they are only wipeing the dust off them.

The best soldering iron is a 15 watt soldering iron with a pin point tip if you are going to solder the top D0 point. I wouldent o any higher than a 18 Watt ele you will be asking for trouble. I use a 18 watt with a ground down tip. Its needle sharp.

When preparing to solder the Top d0  (wich is the blue wire on the Xenium) i would advise you to gentaly solder the blue wire first. and when then sodlering it to the bord you should only just need to touch the Bord for a slight second to get a connetion ----

I persoanly allways solder to the bottem D0 as it is a more stable connection. Many ppl will advise you on diffrent ways of doing this each with there own resons on why. Its upto your self at the end f the day but if you follow the istuctions on how to do it the xenium way you should have no problems.
