You only have to relock the hdd.

retail bios will not work with an unlocked hdd.

hdd have to stay locked.

but how do i relock it? my xbox boots straight into the service error screen?

Boot xbox with eject button and also you might need to hold down the white button at boot up.

Hey guys thanks for the help,

i was also reading about the recovery.bin boot disc....would that be on any use?

im also pretty sure the solderless adapter is posisionted properly, i eman it worked last nigth and all...and led on the chip does light on
