Nicely Done.  I have a quick question for anyone to answer.  I flashed with latest Xecutor BIOS (List item2 (1 is Default Kernel)).  When I choose that in the Xenium (OS2) menu, it takes me to Avalaunch.  If I want to ADD evox as a dash, how do I go about doing that?

Guys, quick question.  I'm completely new to modding, and I got this chip.  Now, I installed it, solderless, and turned on my x-box... but it booted just as it always has.  I'm completely clueless as to what to do past this, and i've been looking for about two hours on the net.  ANY help would be beyond appreciated.  I hope someone sees this...  sad.gif

make sure u have the right D0

i have to do it a few times, but eventlually worked...

You got a d0 problem.

Scrub the d0 point with alcohol to get the untistatic coating of.
Clean the d0 wire end with alcohol.

When I use the "Retail Kernal" (original MS bios) to boot in to play my Xbox Live games, would the LED be on the color you choose or off? If it's on does that still mean that the chip is off?

I didn't install the LED adaptor, I wanted everything to be "internal".

I installed the rivets in the first two holes in the LPT as mentioned in the official manual but that caused problems so I installed the Xenium without any rivets and it worked fine.

What use is there for the LED apart from it telling you the mod is operating ok?

Thank you for this guide!! Just got my xenium ice today finally from modwhiz.  Don't pick the slow shipping. =(  Everything went smooth on the first try.  Followed this guide and got all the stuff (bios) blah blah from the irc.  i cant figure out how to boot with the m8 bios, but I got the executer bios working.  Just tried to FTP the dashboard over, but not sure how to get that to work just yet.   Thanks again for the guide.

Actually could you explain how you installed the Avalaunch dash?  Still no clue why I can flash the evo m8 bios.  At least the x-cuter works though.

i just downloaded the avalaunch files and then put them all in my C: drive and then renamed avalanch.xbe to evoxlaunch.xbe (or whatever the default name for evolutionX is)

you might want to re-download the M8 bios you coulnd't have a problem flashing them
