how do you 'ftp' the files? If you can't tell, clueless to this stuff but i have one on the way. might be a dangerous combination
get the chip working. hook up the xbox on the network (this will vary with what you use, there are tuts)in the OS2 set the network settings. Use an FTP client on your computer and connect to the xbox. Transfer files... try google on how FTP works if you've never FTP'd to anything before..

i need to know, is how do i know my mod is succesfull, when i dont have any bios flashed? The system should boot normally when i set the external device on my xecuter to "off" on the switch, right?
yes that is correct, and I'm not totally sure, but cromwell will probably load with the modchip on/enabled, but you won't see anything on the screen. the DVD drive would eject. This is if the chip is new and came pre-flashed with cromwell.

Does somebody have or know of a guide with indepth text and pictures to guide someone along the installation of a Xenium ice with the M8 bios and EvolutionX dashboard on a 1.6v mobo.Im a noob to this kinda stuff and would appreciate any kind of help.
to install the chip, follow OzXodus's 1.6 install guide to rebuild the LPC and know where D0/LFRAME is located. Look at the regular install guide to see how the pin header is actually put in the board and how the chip is orientated. Then check out their OS2 Manual to see how to operate the chip once installed. If you want to install evox afterward, use the tuts already available on the site. instead of using a boot disc with an FTP server on it, just fire up the chip as OS2 has a built in FTP server.
** I am by no means an expert, but I have modded quite a few xboxs... so what I'm saying is don't hold me responsible...
