Xenium And 1.6
« on: July 08, 2004, 11:00:00 AM »

Hey, Is it possible to install a normal Xenium and have it working on a xbox version 1.6? Thanks =)

Also, are there any extra steps with a Xenium or a Xenium ICE on a 1.6?

if following the instructions do no work, ground the LFRAME instead of connecting to the d0 on your chip.

you wont be able to switch to tsop but it will work.

You need OS2 (currently beta) to have 1.6 support.

Credit go to TSOPrano For the LFRAME To the Ground Instead to D0 on the chip.

I just put a Xenium with OS2 flashed with M8 in a 1.6 Xbox.

After doing all the soldering using the pics for the 1.6 diagram provided by  Team OzXodus it still wouldn’t boot properly ( Got a red light but nothing else ) The guys in the OzXodus forum recommended soldering the D0 on the motherboard directly  to a ground on the Motherboard, not the Xenium. Just did it a few hours ago and it worked Fine. Hope this helps for thoes of you still having problems.
