Due to a small tiny little bug I found in the circuit, I had to have the board production halted and redone.
So its going to be a few more days.

Sorry guys.

Awesome.. I can't wait! Hopefully, there will be a good way to mount an LCD on my Halo SE because I don't feel like doing any cutting to it.  dry.gif

I havent made a list of LCD's yet. But so far from the people that have the prototype it seems no problems.

Generally, a paralell lcd  thats 2x20 2x16 4x20 should work.
I havent been able to find out why my 2x16 doesnt work properly, so not sure, it has to do with the difference of power between 5v and 3.3v that the xen spits out. But no idea.

Ill try and put up a list of lcds as I get more feedback.

Heh, your kidding right?

My first install we be the usual 'dangling-out-the-side-double-sticked-to-face' then followed by a final install on the top right cover. I'll have to cut the rectangle by hand because the laser cutting shop I went to said they dont do plastics cause of some fumes or some other (wussies). The rectangle will be filled in with 1/16" plexiglass, I'll have to cut the metal under the cover of course, but it should provide a good final install. I dont need it on the face, the only time I'll be using it is when im on the move.

Just got my prototype in a few days ago. I'll report on a few different LCDs from different vendors in the USA.

I know ive been pushing this back and back. Problems with attaining the PCB's.
They are now in the USA (as of the 8th) due to the weekend, theyr not getting shipped to me till next week. So hopefully by next week I should have them.

I wont be selling LCD's themselves (possibly in future, but not initially) some of the resellers will be packaging the spi2par with lcd's but that will be upto them.
As well, I will be having an LCD page where ppl can submit their LCD and results, as well as links to where you can buy lcd's.

Well I can finally say, im going to get the PCB in.

I got a hold of factory and it is confirmed, the PCB is in Canada (customs right now) It was sent out on Saturday from USA overnight. So I should have it tommorow.

Ill be begin taking orders, possibly tommorow or late this week.

Also posting some pictures, and install guides, so you guys can see exactly whats involved (not much) before you buy it.
