I've just downloaded them all and obviously watched them too. I like the look of the new OS, its way way better than the original.  

Just to save anyone time thats on 56K, Only the "Installers Video 3" and "SMB and Pen Drive Flash Video 4" are worth taking a look at, the others are a total waste of time, if you're only interested in looking at the menus that is.

Not keen on how the BIOSes seem to be called installers or whatever though, hope that gets renamed. Other than that i dont really see what the big fuss over the OS is, although its meant to have been totally rewritten, i see nothing and no reason for me to upgrade from 1.1 to 2.0 once its released.

Its only really been given a facelift and a couple new things.    And not even all the things that should have been in there, like webflashing  


EDIT: I think im just totally let down with this though due to the fact they over-hyped it and let people down for way too long, its really been dragged out too long. The "awe and magic" left a long time ago now  

Maybe once this version is out they'll keep their mouths shut untill the next version is already been beta tested and really is only a day away from release. If they learn from their mistakes they made this time all should be well for the future updates.

they released the videos for all the b*tching and complaining that everyone is doing about the release being delayed

lol its becoming a bit of a joke, i realy dont think theyve done themselves a favour by teasing people, i understand that theres a lot to do, and i understand its not easy, and yes your gonna run into probs, but maybe next time, instead of trying to do everything at once, periodic fixs updates etc, would be much better, rather than wait for it all in one go.............

True, but at least Xenium don't release a bios that will kill your xbox . I like the look of the OS2, the true fonts or what ever look very nice. I'm sure it will be customizble in many ways.

The installers menu from the name itself and what the video shows is for people who install modchips. Simply they create a script, in the vid it was called 'abc', with all the settings, bios names, what bank to flash with what bios, network, xen,lcd etc. All those settings, saved them onto a script. Then the installer just sticks the xenium onto the xbox, connects the usb drive or whatever. Loads the script and it flashes the xenium, programs it and does all the mediocre tasks that installers do.

Iam thinking there is a special menu for jsut flashing.


Oh, and btw, the wires coming out of the xbox. Look more closely at what they are attached to ;-)

i dont see anything wrong with the vids. they did say it would be skinnable. and we get a lot more features than before. the only problem will be, a lot of noobs will be posting things like, "the new os f**ked up my xbox!" there are a lot of things there that some people will not be able to run correctly.

I am guessing that the wires are going to some sort of memory expansion for the Xenium. They put a pretty RGB LED on it the same as on Xenium. I say this only because there are 8 BIOS slots in the new OS, compared to 4 which the XeniumOS v1.1 has so there must be more memory (nobody else notice this?). I could be wrong though.

The wires are attached to the circuit board the eject and power switch are on!
