I have the new Xenium chip with OS v1.1 and I have x2 bios loaded and the original ms bios... when i load the original ms bios does this mean that my chip is disabled and that I can us Live?  i made the x2 bios led red and the ms bios led blue, so i can tell (even though its pretty obvious)  but even though the mod chip is on (the led anyways) does that mean its not active?

Thanks!

As longt as you boot the Original BIOS you are good.

And use the X2 4983 BIOS so if you screw up and try going online /w ,modified BIOS you will be safe.

Naturally original game must be used. You can only play live using Origial Bios.
With Original Bios only original games can be played.

No, you have to have the chip turned off (original bios) AND have the original disc (yes, that original one you didnt want to get dirty, remember!), dont worry, im sure someone will hack this soon enough!

Ok,, TWO questions

1. You can change the LED color on the chip to correspond with a certain BIOS???

2. The 4983's have a protection feature that keeps you from logging onto Live with chip enabled?

ANd 3,   like it was said,  we dont want Live! hacked,  leave it as is.  Its the only place to go for good competitive gaming that is for the most part cheat free.  Of course you get your glitch users and bandwidth hogging assholes but for the most part its perfect.  And it is cheap.  So just keep your live hacking dreams locked away in your head.

The latest version of XBTool (google i forgot the link) can change an abundant of options but only up to X4981. X4983 isn't supported in XBTool because I believe it has some X3 code or somthing (encrypted).

Yes. basicaly if you hit the live tab in the m$dash it will say "no network" or somthing similar availble, this is also in X4981 as well I think.

Tommy Vercetti:

As far as I know the LED color is an option available in the OS on your Xenium. You can change the LED color when a certain bank is loaded. I believe it's over a dozen colors to choose from as well.
