Did your opinion change after the OS 2.0 feature information was released?
(Yes I know X3 is not release yet, well neather is OS 2.0.)

This thread is just Xenium versus X3 opinions.

Well I wonder what Xecuter thinks now about their comming X3 product.
The competetivenes that is, towards Xenium?

Not saying which is better, but for sure this does have a great impact on the competitive difference of the two products.

I'm currently looking to get a chip and I have no real opinion right now.
So... I'm interested in your take on the two. Why do you say that X3 is more impressive to you?

I am 50/50 on the subject.

Though I do love my Xeniums the only feature I am looking forward to is FTP and HDD functions which would help greatly during install. But that doesnt help so much if Xeniums are shipped with XOS 1.0

IMO though, the ball will always be in the X3 court because of their bios. They have full control over everything. As far as a feature list disregarding bios features, both in the end may/will be the same.

I started with Xeniums, I'll die with Xeniums... Well ok, maybe

Well both mods have huge amounts of features.
Only few of the features actually have impact on my opinion of the mods.
It's been interesting to follow the X3 information and waiting for it to come on the market.

For me xenium new update did have a impact on my opinion.

X3
I like the promissed feature of "Remote Controll POweing xbox ON/OFF"
Well to my dissapointment it was not included in the Reviced Info sheet.
I did ask them about it will see later what they responded.
Possible X3 bios updates

Xenium
SMB (Samba)
New feature that makes it possible to easlily make thirdparty leagal programs to be integrated to the OS!

The remote controll feature can also be achieved by bying a third party module.
It can coexit with the xenium. Ofcource that would mean of a extra cost, as for X3 it is integrated feature.

Well taking all this in consideration I think I like the Xenium more.
