Ok for one SmartXX releases a OS update everytime someone farts upwind.. so thats no big suprise. As far as the XOS 2.0, my guess is they were getting ready to release it, finishing up on stuff when they made their big announcement. Then 1.6 came into our lives and messed things up temporarily. Remember, they have allready delivered what they promised, a fully functional modchip that allows you to do everything you could want to on an XBOX. Any updates is just extra fodder, that you should appreciate when they come out, but not bitch about when they take too long (of course what constitutes as taking too long is a matter of opinion). This goes for any hardware, software and not just modchips.... never ever ever ever buy anything based on features it could have one day with an update. You all should be familiar with the whole early dvd burner days when HP was promising + and - R compatibility with just an update of the firmware, among numerous other times in pretty much an industry future promises are made. Its the nature of business, always promote what your product does and may be able to do in order to sell more product... it may suck.. but it works and its called capatilism. So you as a consumer have to learn how to be different then the mindless sheep who will buy anything if promoted right and educate yourself, does the product do what you want it to do, and is it worth the money you spend on it for that. If both answers are yes, then who really gives a rats ass what the designers say it may be able to do with an update. Take it all with a grain of salt, and if they deliver... great!! But for godsakes people stop bitching and whining and complaining about the XOS 2.0 not being out yet, if/when it comes out you know you will all be jumping on the Xenium bandwagon once again. God I hate fairweather fans, they have no backbone.
