Since the LPC differences are specific (pin 2/pin 9), it would seem a little ridiculous to think that this version does not exist... Ii agree with others that these mb are rare, and since they also seem constrained to a specific production run, that also seems to indicate that it might have been a trial or experiment.
PS: It's also a very bold statement to indicate that "no one has found a true 1.5" and for two good reasons:
1. You really would need to know every one for the statement to be true
2. You would have to know what a "true" 1.5 really is. For all intents and purposes, the fact that you suggest by your statement that a "true 1.5" exists kind of invalidates the whole thing...
