Goto the downloads section on www.ozxodus.com and look for the solderless adapter installation manual.

Second post on this thread. If you're installing the Xenium adapter (the blue one) just ignore any references to rivets (although you can still use them if your LPC holes are not filled). Other than that, the installation is identical to the Chameleon adapter.

If the lpc holes are filled, you have a 1.0 motherboard.  You do not need to remove the solder from the lpc holes -- simply align the adapter to the lpc solder pads and tighten the screw.  I had problems if I tightened the screw too much.

I would still recommend lightly scraping and cleaning the solder pads on the lpc.

sad.gif  I wish I understood why this 2 min mod at max is hard for you.  sad.gif

You do not need to use a blade for anything.

You put the gold things in the right holes. then put chameleon adapter directly into holes. Screw down, take gold fire and bend it gently so it sticks in d0 point with some spring. Put Xenium chip ontop of the solderless adapter. Fits like a glove!

Which adapter u have?
If blue u dont need the rivets!
If black u DO need the rivets! One for every pogo!

Installation:
Insert the d0 hook in d0 via
Pull back the adapter on the lpc holes
and align
Push it down so that the plastic sits
firmly on the mobo

While u are holding it down
fix it with the screw supplied!

If u get red light it means that pin 2 and pin 9 is ok
if the xbox FRAGs means that the adapter is not correctly aligned!

I hope this helps

PS no scraping the mobo is required

Hi, I do not have any solder or anythign in my pins and it seems like my new xbox is a v1.5 unfortunately.  In the diagrams, it shows how to install the ground and the 3.3v connection but with the solderless adapter how do I ground pin 2 if my adapter is in the way of the point?  can I put the wire on top of the screw of the adapter?
