ok i havent been on here for a while beacuse i have been working on a few things..... HOWEVER i see a few idots have been replying to my post....
Well, now, there's a nice way to not start off a friendly post...

well i will be providing a few screenshots for you fucks to prove my single partition hd......
Personally, screenshots don't mean much to me. How about you post details of your kernel patches, instead? Don't forget to mention what kernel you used as a basis, of course, so we can duplicate your efforts to verify your findings.

i dont see why spme people think they know it all....
I don't think I know it all. In fact, I am reminded every day of how little I really do know. But.... I have been working with the Xbox, at a very low level, every day for the past several years. Almost 20 hours a day, lately. I like to think I know a thing or two at this point.

if you havent tried it then dont say it wont work.....
I haven't tried it. I don't need to. I will continue to say it won't work. Actually, what I've said, and will continue to say, is that a single partition is not possible. You need at least the C, E, X, Y, and Z partitions. The X, Y, and Z partitions need their own space on the drive, seperate from the others. The C, E, and any other partitions you'd like (F/G/Etc) could, theoretically, share the same physical sectors and index tables. You would need to make sure a few things don't happen, though....
1. You'd need to ensure that any references in the kernel to the physical start/end sectors of the partitions are set accordingly.
2. You'd need to ensure that 2 threads do not attempt to make silmultanious access to 2 "logical drives" at the same time... otherwise you will end up with corrupted data. This restriction will likely break most games.
3. You'd need to ensure that nothing other then your modified kernel touches the drive directly. This means dash updates are out of the question.

if you knew a little bit more about this shit then you might know how it is possible to do some thnigs with little or ALOT of work and that is what it took ALOT of work to do it......
Sure.... anything's possible with enough effort. I'm not saying that it isn't. I am, however, saying that what you're proposing, to do it in any real way, would take a LOT of effort. Not just a bit of experimenting.... but a team effort, several weeks of research, several weeks of implementation, several more weeks of testing and debugging..... and a very intimate understanding of the xbox kernel and filesystem.
Again... I'm not saying it couldn't be done. I am, however, saying that I am extremely skeptical of your claim that you've "done it" only a day or so after asking if it were even possible.

again i have said it before and i will say it again..... if you dont like my post DONT READ IT!!!!!
How am I supposed to know whether or not I like your post before I read it? Kind of a catch-22 there.....

You should heed your own advice.

as soon as i get some pictures they will be on here and as far as your BS list goes your oon my "dumb fuck that dont know shit" list jack ass!
It will take more then pictures to provide an indication that you've "done it."
Post some kernel patch information, and we'll verify your results.
If you think you've "done it" without any kernel modifications, then you're simply confused.
In the meantime... this thread will be closed. Aside from being unproductive, and creating nothing but silly arguments..... it's off topic for this forum.
Have a nice day!
