Have you installed a new hard drive or something lately, or reformatted it?  I had this problem after reformatting my old harddrive.  It would load evox extremely slowly.  The problem for me was that harddrive wasn't reading the dashboard files very well (I assume), because I got a new harddrive and everything worked fine.  It was either that or the harddrive simply didn't partition correctly, which caused some problems.  In either case it was the harddrives fault.

But I assume there are other things that could cause this problem.

Ok it is the harddrive causing the problem because that harddrive wont run correctly in my good xbox either....and the harddrive from my good xbox works find in the bad xbox....so i am gonna try and reformat this messed up harddrive and see if that works, if not i guess it is just a bad harddrive...
