You need to lock the HD to boot into factory bios, may want to use configmagic to lock your HD.
Leave xbox shut down for about 3 minutes restart should come up to xenium screen.

 Guy's,  thanks for the help, I got back into the XOS, HDD wasn't locked.
I didn't know about the 3 min. reset thing, also assumed the clone HDD
util. in XOS would have locked the HDD before restarting.  Any way
alls well, time to get in trouble with Evox, thanks again.
