That would be excellent to integrate into the OS.  The X3 Live Config, as we have seen, does this... no reason Xenium can't.  wink.gif

Yeah, notice I said that even before Team X3 released their video about that, and TeamOZXodus said that the color changing stuff was "easy"!  biggrin.gif

Yup.   biggrin.gif

I imagine it would be integrated because it is "easy".  I'm not challenging anything, just saying it'd be good to add.

so where is this great OS 2.0?

the anti clone stuff doesn't help me very much.  what i need is an updated OS that fixes  the problem of not booting to the original bios.  i can't use xbox live without it.  this failure alone prevented me from buying a second xenium.  i shelled out some serious cash for this expensive chip.  lets get it working properly and then worry about the clone wars.

You cannot unlock a harddisk without a key, no.

Sorry.

EDIT: If you could... it's wouldnt be much of a 'lock' really.  wink.gif

but imagine a feature on the chip that will find the key  ( as an alternative to probing...) and then unlock it.... using that key... the xbox was once locked... that sure proved a thing or two about locks....

It would take ages.

Literally.

You might have the key by the time the xbox3 was cracked.

It'd be at least enough time for you to just save up and buy a new drive.  wink.gif

I think that the hard drive would die first.  Assuming that the manufacture followed the spec, and the drive has to be power cycled every 4 tries.

One thing i've found is that hard drive and cd/dvd drive manufacturers.....

WOULDNT KNOW A SPEC OR A STANDARD IF IT BIT EM!

Hehe...

Especially these damned Thomsans.

Did they READ the ATAPI spec?

Did they even KNOW there was one?

Ok, enough of my bitching about techy matters which noone cares about.... back to work I go.
