You said very little, yet your words were comforting and I think I might get the Chameleon one.  Now I need a trusted site with a good price.  I am really going to need help with this one with all the fakes going on.  Xbox-wired seems like a great canidate, but they are out of stock right now.

I bought mine from xbox-gear.com. Fast shipping and it was definitely the real thing. Plus the guy who runs the site is often on IRC, so you can bug him if there are any problems, though I'm sure there won't be.
