anyway what other features will i lose if i continue to use the xenium in this state?

The ability to ever use Xbox Live without being banned.

Like Tidusblitz111 so delicately states here the D0 point maybe repairable.
However, if your the one who damaged the board then you might want to look for someone else to do the repair work.

No expert on Xbox Live here at all.
Logging onto Xbox Live with your modchip on will get you banned wont it?

Xbox Live aparently looks into memory to find the loaded BIOS, if its an unhacked Offical MS one, its happy. People say that XBL could be able to detect the chip drawing power from the LPC, but even with the mod disabled this is what would happen, and as it is no people have been banned from it yet.

So in the tutorial "with the modchip ON" means with the Modchip ON
and booting to a hacked Bios.
If its using an original (unmoddified) Xbox Bios, then Live is a go.

Very cool.

I think you might want to consider repairing the underside D0 point, all you need do is run a jumper wire from the point just above that D0 and then follow it down to the point just below.  Once this jumper is in place reconnecting the two points all will be fine.

if you are in the UK, drop me a line, its a 5 minute repair
