Xenium Not Booting
« on: March 19, 2004, 11:52:00 AM »

Oh, and my Xbox is a 1.5 and I installed the Xenium using the pin-header.

Since the red light on the Xenium is flashing, that means it's getting power, right? So I got the power wire-soldering right. The d0 point looks good too. But am I supposed to solder the wire from the d0 point to the underside or the topside of the Xenium chip? I've soldered it to the point on the top that says "d0". But I've seen people soldering it to the underside too...

You should ground your chip...

You are supposed to solder a ground wire to a resistor or something, look on ozXodus.com and go to installation manuals...and you will find everything you need...

I've done everything it says in the guide... but I'm not sure if all the pins on the pin header are connected to their circuits on the underside of the mobo. Could that be the porblem?
