Alright, I have Alcohol 120% now, how do I make a proper, working ISO bootup disc for Evox M7_ef? Which Evox File do I need to make an ISO of, and how? Take in mind, I thought I knew how to do all this, and it didn't work. Have pity on your newbs.

Alright! I experimented, and I got the dang thing to load up. Where heck do I go from here? I need to FTP right? How do I find my comp's IP Address? My boxes IP is 192.168.0.5. It looks good. I hooked my comp and the box up with a crossover cable, so Im checked off there. Now what? It wont connect with my box.

Sorry I missed your IMs, I was eating dinner.  I'll be on all night tonight so shoot me an IM again if you'd like.

I will be playing UT 2004 so if I dont respond Im probably in a game.  I'd be glad to help you out though step by step if you need it.

Once you get the FTP stuff working. Backup you C, E folders to your computer's HD. Just  to be safe.

Most of the Tutorials seems to expect your BIOS to look for the original xbox dashboard file..and tell you to rename that file to 'oldsomething'.

For me, I ingored the 'renaming dance' because EVOX M7 BIOS looks for evoxdash.xbe instead of original dashboard. So, you just need to FTP the evox dash and ini file to the C drive on the xbox and leave the orignal alone. Remember the ini file.

If you haven't looked at your BIOS with XBTOOLS, please do it. All becomes clear and you'll see some of the older are based on you (and the BIOS) not knowing the BIOS boot sequence.
