are you able to get into the xenium config menu? if so, then you may want to re-configure your settings. It may be a hardware problem but by your description, most likely software.

Yes I can get into the config menu by pressing the eject button to power it on.
What settings should I be looking for?

Just a quick note by me.
I was having problems booting to X-OS for a bit.
I realized that it was the DVD dongle. If you have it plugged in, try unplugging it and then turn on your box. See if that works.
Did the trick for me.

Same thing happens to me, on the odd occaision it will work, usually itll just boot into the xenium screen (not into one I can access the menu tho), the Xenium LED stays red, but the eject led just flashes green. It's starting to piss me off, guess when it works, I'll revert back to Xenium 1.0.
