unless the game has a display mode lockout (some games won't display on the "wrong" display mode), then yes.

I have found that with a newer x2 bios, and enegmah switcher or configmagic you will be able to boot anything. And if you have avalauch or unleashx, that they can also set the videomode as well. It would be very strange if you could not play all region games

have you actually tried pal games?

I know the mode for pal can be set in the eeprom, but most games that are pal will probably not run on ntsc system.... for either video lockout, or they will run crappily as they are based on screen refresh?

if you do change the eeprom, you will have to have a tv that can display both pal and ntsc, then pal games will work...

remember you can change video mode in the Xenium-OS EEprom Tools menu.

i play PAL labeled "back-ups" on my NTSC system without any problems....don't change any settings on chip/TV/dash or whatever   tongue.gif
