Led Flashes Red Once?

I think the LED should stay red on the chip (red meaning the xenium has power) , so recheck your power connection.

edit: did you read this: http://www.ozxodus.c...viewtopic&t=395

Alright. I fixed the power issue - the led no longer flashes red. It stays a solid red.....Still not very good :|

Yeah.....The solid red light :| - I followed the guide that you posted and it didn't help. Still getting a solid red light.....And it's driving me crazy because all of the connections seem to be solid.

If you get a solid red light and you boot into the MS dash you definately have a d0 wire installation problem only.

yea, solid red light is good, what comes up on the screen though?  The led will stay red until the xenium is in XOS menu..

I checked the d0, and even redid it. I still get a red led and boot into the msdashboard. The d0 is connected properly.....It has to be.

Alright....I've re-soldered the damn thing near ten times and it doesn't get me anywhere. Is it possible to use a multimeter to check to see if the chip is fried or not? Because that's the only thing I can think of that would be doing this. This is the must frustraiting thing I've ever done, because I'm not amazing at soldering. Every time I redo it, I have a very good chance of losing my xbox. And everytime I redo it, it doesn't help.

I checked the d0 point with a magnifying glass and wiggled the wire just a tad to make sure it was connected. I haven't tried it without a connection to the d0 point. I'll try in a little bit - taking a break before I mess it up. I'm using the d0 point on the bottom.

Fuck the d0 I bet your XOS got toasted...Just flip the dip switch on the chip to boot into Safe Mode.....If it will not even boot into safe mode you are fucked and should call M$ demanding a refund j/k.  If it does boot into safe mode, then reload the XOS 1.1 from a disk you burned and all should be good.  Also, remove your chip altogether and see if the XBOX boots reguarly..if it does not, than you might have hosed your EEPROM and will need to fix it by asking around.
