uhh.gif  are you talking about flashing your chip in general or upgrading OS. I think you're talking about upgrading OS based on title.  If your question is whether or not you should upgrade OS then yes you should, but if your question is something else please be more specific........but if you are talking about flashing a bios on the chip like x2 or evox bios then you should definately do that sad.gif

Slayers Install Disk should be ok, But I have never used it.. So I am not sure if its n00b friendly  unsure.gif

slayers is the most noob friendly disc out. You select one option and it formats your drive, installs a bunch of apps and the dash, and allows for recovery if anything gets messed up.. Definitly use it...

Use the Evox M7 bios

use the Xenium OS 1.1 upgrade if you want, but its not necessary
