I don't know about anyone else but I personally am getting sick of the pissing match between The Xenium crew and SmartXX. I own a Xenium chip myslef but am sure the SmartXX is also a more than capable chip. I think XBOX SCENE should remove itself from this ongoing pissing match and not post new items which fuel the fire. Each company has their own forum where they can show off their chip and do all the comparisons they want. Xbox Scene at the most should just mention articles and post link but to include screens of LCD's in XBOX media Centre looks bad.
Kudo's to both companies for great products and keep up the inovation but please do not involved the general public in your pissing match.

Please note this message will be forward to all parties concerned as I favour inovation of products and not 1 particular company.

Just to say I don't see any of the ozxodous members in the pissing match (but I may be wrong)
However most people seem to be installers and regular posters in the SmartXX forums
Once they say something wrong however they are denied all affiliation with SmartXX

ATM HSDemonz is a bit miffed as he cannot seem to sell his smartXX chips which today has resorted in lots of 'installers' posting lots of nonchalent crap in this forum (and the SmartXX one too lol) in the vain efforts to start a flamewar.

I am not trying to blame any one group of people. I have seen Xenium posts which were cool followed by SmartXX posts to try and counter act and I have also seen the complete opposite. I really just don't want to see XBOXSCENE turned into a site for a flame war as you put it. I love the site and find it a great source of info.
I get annoyed when I hear people bashing this of that. My guess is they are kids or have the maturity level of kids. I have modded 20 XBOXS so far with the Xenium chip and have not had 1 single problem other than the original manual did suck.....problem has been rectified though. I can probably safely assume the SmartXX chip is quite similiar in setup as far as soldering goes and as long as people use their heads they won't have any problems. I have updated the OS on all 20 mods too without a single problem other than 1 chip didn't power off...it just sat there. I waited 10 minutes and killed the power...when I rebooted it was updated.

Keep Up the good work XBSCENE and remain impartial.

I vote for him to go to SmartXX and investigate the so deemed 'Stealth chip technology' LoL
