no retard u r not fucked. there is two dO points on the mother board and both u can use. If u lifted one then use the other. Try seaching for ur Version of the xbox and then alt dO and the dO point is where the xbox looks for a alternate Bios..........

He just may be FuClCed! If he can't get the bottom side Do point soldered, I seriously doubt he'll be successfull with the much smaller more difficult to install top Do.

I've been wondering if you couldn't just stick a pin through the D0 hole and solder to the pin.... worth a though

but really...

What i did was take a single strand of an ide cable wire and stick it through the d0 and just solder that.... simple...

if the box fraggs without a modchip then it probally will frag with a modchip

PS... when ur having trouble like this, it is not a good idea to have a name like "retardedpenguin"
