Question About A Xenium Feature
« Reply #15 on: February 25, 2004, 09:30:00 PM »

The Chameleon 2 hasn't been released yet, so that's strike 2 on your "friend".

Open your box, I wouldn't be surprised if your friend simply flashed your TSOP with all of the BS he's slinging!

Hope he didn't charge you too much for your 'new modchip'.

FYI, if it were a Chameleon or a Xenium, it would boot differently when you booted with the Eject button - and would also be silkscreened on the top of the chip with the name of the chip.

It does work, but I can't make it flash a new BIOS. And the possibility of the xbox switch did cross my mind.

Ok, I decided to check for this by loading up the ms xbox dash and check the saved games, and see if my old save games were there. They are not there. Is a modchip supposed to erase them or something? I'm getting real pissed here. I need proof that he fucked me so I can get my money (and possibly my real xbox) back. Thanks.

All you need is a 10 and a 15 torque screwdriver head to open the box.  Your friend obviously has them, borrow his!  Or grab them at a Radio Shack for a couple of dollars.
