Question About A Xenium Feature
« on: February 22, 2004, 11:03:00 PM »

To go Live, just boot the Xenium OS (power on with eject button if you have instantboot turned on), press the White button on the controller, select Original Bios, and that's it! To revert to your alternate Bios, just reboot the XBOX. Easy.

The mod is still running though, but live don't see the mod, cause it is booted to MS bios.  Just to make it more clear.

Choose 'Original Bios' to boot to return to the retail bios in your x-box
If you don't have the instantboot option and you want it you might think about folloing the directions at the ozxodus site (http://www.ozxodus.com/index.php) to upgrade to OS 1.1 <yes your modchip has an upgradable OS!>

Yeah just get the iso version and burn it using nero <nero express option burn image or saved project > set the file type to iso... > select the image extracted from the file you downloaded burn to disc !lower the speed the better! then when you go into the OS to upgrade as per the manual instructions just insert the disc and it will read the new OS from there.

If you want to get evox back your best bet for the moment is to get a slayers install cd

The Xenium OS screen doesn't appear... On startup, the Xbox animation appears, but in a white color (I think it's the Cromwell BIOS) and then goes to the Evolution X dashboard. Any idea? Is it possible that the OS is not installed? If so, how can I install it (not update, install from scratch)?

*cue deep sinking feeling that someone has been duped by 'a friend'*

EDIT one last thing try holding down the white button when you power on and then try holding it when you press the eject button from the xbox being powered off
