Anybody recieved defective chips also?

I wonder what the fail rate of the xenium is like.

Mailed my supplier right away,

It was divineo.com (yeah the canada store) got the chips within 2 weeks. blink.gif
still waiting for a reply on my mail , it's now 3 days ago that i mailed them.  unsure.gif

but my point was to see if more people have broken/cracked/ or empty chips.

dunno how to post a pick but the chip i recieved from divineo was warped along the quick solder edge. looked like a roller coaster kinda. none of the traces there were broken though so it still worked.

that and it took a MONTH to ship it to me in SE US.and i pre ordered.

Yeah Divineo needs to work their packaging

I got the five chips, in an fedex envelope.
They packed the chips seperatly in anti static bags, thats oke.
But they forgot the bubble plastic
And that on a trans atlantic order  mad.gif

the memory bank is'nt cracked all the way trough. So i wonder if its due to shipping, or it was an production error.

I'm in Southeast USA. I ordered my Xenium from modchip.ca.  My chip arrived at on the next day FedEx express. Super fast, and in perfect condition.

That occured in transit or handling at some point.  Chips are tested as they come of of the production line. At that point.. if the cracked casing was there.. it would have been discarded.

At some point between end of product and getting to you.. something happened.

RMA it. Any reputable shop will exchange it.
