Not Booting Because Of Controller-s?

I bought something called a "solder wick". It looks exactly like a desoldering braid, so I believe it will work(it says copper to, so it will) So, should I heat up the braid, and place it on the solder, or should I heat up the solder, and then  place the brai on it? Will the circles on the lpc holes become visible again? Will the braid suck it up, or should I just get a pump?

Yes, what you have is fine. Lay the braid on top of the solder you want to remove. Place the hot iron on top of the braid. The heat will go through the braid, melt the solder, and the braid (which has flux in it) will suck it up. Be very careful not to overheat the solder point. It's ok to do this in several steps, letting it cool off in between, to get all the solder off. If there is excessive solder, and you overheat the board trying to get it all off at once, you can burn the board, remove the traces, etc... totally mess the mobo up. Take your time, be patient, don't use to much heat, refresh the braid as it sucks up solder to keep fresh braid on what you're working on. Cut the solder-filled braid off when it gets long enough to be in the way.

Please read my post more carefully.

Bulbs and pumps work too, but for motherboard work, I prefer braid.

XeniumOS boots fine with my Controller-S in a v.1.1 xbox. It is the only controller in there.

It also boots with Controller-S and the DVD dongle (Controller-S in port 1 and DVD Dongle I tried in ports 2-4 and works).

Now is there possibly different versions of Controller-S ? This would explain why some are having problems.
