but what is avalaunch without a hacked bios to run it on the xbox which is the intended purpose for a modchip... sure there are softmods and crap but without a different bios avalaunch wouldnt even need to exist....

With softmods you don't need to change the bios to run things like avalaunch you just have to sign the XBE's

I still think that modchips are crap, and the only thing they are good for, is booting bios(s) and that's about it....

At this current time my suspicions are that the SmartXX although it's onboard OS is currently a bit superior than the Xenium, it will never be supported by any Dashboard (I'm betting they will never give out any details outside of there own company/group). The Xenium however is already being supported by neXgen.

this guy complaining that modchips suck but spends time in a modchip forum?? it would seem he is all about tsop flashing.. and with a soft mod you really dont have to sign xbe's you can just run a PBL and load a bios..... and how can a chip thats not out be more superior then xenium?? alot of people will disagree there buddy xenium is the best out now!!!
