usually motherboard diagrams will tell you where to ge tthat extra power just search for the ones on xboxscene

lol..i really fucked up my other 1.3 with a tsop flash...i bridged with solder (after the failed screw attempt)  and flashed with raincoat...halfway through(or i think it was halyway there is no tellin) it halted...... the first time one of the screws fell out of position LMAO...the i just bought a tsop test clip which costed way too much and it still didnt work so i used the case for modding practice...

The first pics you posted were horrendous attempts at soldering (aside from the fact you placed the pinheader in the wrong holes... btw ... show us the guide you followed to pull that off?).. and the second one.. where you think you "fixed" it.. looks just as bad.  Do you use a coat hanger instead of a soldering Iron?

If this wasn't your first attempt.. on the backside of the WRONG INSTALL.. why did you SOLDER the rubber/foam square? instead of removing it?

If this wasn't your first attempt.. why not show us your first.

I'm definitely interested in seeing something you have screwed up.

... and please tell me you have no intent on become a "pro modchip installer" and sell your services....

I'm almost willing to buy this fuckup off of you.. so we can add it to the Hall of Shame.. of what NOT to do to an xbox.

Don't take any of this as a slam.. take this as one experienced person.. who is looking at your work.. and knowing you don't have any experience by the results you've showed us on 2 occassions now.  The first being the WRONG placement and botched solder job.. the second.. being what you think is the "FIXED" placement and solder job.

Oh.. BTW.. I gave you the LPC pin chart earlier.. look up in this thread..

...it's that BIG picture.. it say LPC on it.

You might want to step away from the soldering iron.  Spend some time and READ.  Hasn't your XBOX suffered enough?

LEFTY might do it..

He's fixed some God Awful boards for people.. he actually has the HALL OF SHAME pictures from stuff people have done.

Xeero might do it too.. look at his soldering skills in the big banner in my sig. His work is second to none.
