i just got a xbox and i think it is version 1.5, it came in the star wars tetris pack.
i have a xenium on order and should get it next week. i have never installed a mod chip before and am going to try it. should i get a solderless adapter and use it or do the pogo pins. thanks

just got mine too thought it was a 1.5 (its not) i would say go for the pin header install and just test the pins to see if u actually have a 1.5 anyway if u go with the solderless adapter your still gonna have to solder wires if it actually ends up being a 1.5

Do the pinheader install.

If all is done and you get no led's.

You have a 1.5 and will need the additional 2 wires soldered.
