I think I csrewe up my Chameleon last night, I have a kid that lives nextdoor ( he is a bit slow but a good kid) who loves his xbox. His dad bought him a X2.2 lite+. After 2 days of calling my and knocking on my door they gave up and brought it to me. Well the had bad flashes on both mem banks. They had no programer. The only way I could get this thing working was to do a hot swap. Well my chip was soldered on. So I figured I would just hot swap it, remove the quick solder then install the pin header!
NOT!!! I think i destroied the chip removing it! The tabs from the quick solder tabs came off. so I tried the pin header.... Still boots up to the MS and not xecuter.... The D0 is hot, and all my joints look great.
Any Ideas? Or do you think I burnt up my chip? If so everywhere I looked says that they have no stock. I NEED A CHIP!!!!!
The good news about all this is that the kid next door has his Xbox up and going now!
Guess I can always go over there and play till I get mine going again!
Any info on where I can get a chameleon pretty fast please let me know!
